Modern kitchen normally has a kitchen hood installed to extract the odor, moisture, grease, heat from the stove below.

If you have a kitchen hood system similar to the one as shown, over time, oil is collected in a plastic cup hanging right below the kitchen hood.

The plastic cup becomes so oily that it is very difficult to clean it up.
